Jennifer Kola

In the early nineteen seventies I took my first riding lesson at Fleetwood Farm in Pembroke, MA with Carl Catani (now of Riverwind Farm). After several months I moved up the street to Richard and Julie Ulrich's Friars Gate Farm where the school horses could jump. There I stayed into my teenage years gaining experience at rated shows in the Hunter Divisions. Watching the open jumpers school and respected Dressage riders train there set the wheels in motion for my ultimate decision to ride and train Event horses.

In 1980 I was accepted at Wheaton College in Norton, MA where I received a BA in Studio Art. While there I was Co-captain of the Riding Team for three years with Seana Pitt who was embedded in the Eventing world. Seana encouraged me to enter my first sanctioned event.

From 1984 to the present I have leased and owned several green horses that I have evented throughout the Northeast with the help of advanced eventer Suzi Gornall.
