Q. DO YOU OFFER TRAIL RIDES?

A. We do not offer trail rides.  Our goal is to ensure a safe and productive environment for our students by offering lessons in riding arenas only.

Q. CAN WE TOUR THE FACILITY?

A. We are not currently providing tours due to our extensive wait list. CEC is private property and most of our horses are privately owned. For the safety of all, please refrain from visiting. Email info@cantonequestrian.com to get on our wait list!

Q. DO YOU OFFER GIFT CERTIFICATES?

A.We are not currently offering gift certificates due to our extensive wait list.

Q. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO A LESSON?

A. All riders are required to wear long pants and hard sole boots with a small heel. We provide helmets if needed. 

Q. HOW DO I PAY FOR A LESSON?

A. We accept checks made payable to Canton Equestrian Center, Cash, or Online Bank Transfer. We do not accept credit or debit cards.

Q. CAN I LEASE A HORSE?

A. In order to lease a horse, you must first establish yourself at CEC by taking lessons.

Q. DO YOU OFFER LESSONS IN THE WINTER?

A. Yes, we offer lesson year round. We have an indoor arena (72ftx150ft) for inclement weather.

Q. WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT FOR A LESSON?

A. 6 years old.

Q. CAN I TAKE A GROUP OR SEMI-PRIVATE LESSON?

A. All new riders at CEC are required to take private lessons to ensure a safe and productive lesson. Once the instructor feels the rider is independent, semi-private and group lessons are available.
